Terex Ecotec, a global manufacturer of environmental equipment and solutions, has named Blue Machinery, an England-based supplier of waste recycling systems, materials processing and handling equipment, as its official distributor across England, Scotland and Wales, beginning in 2026.
Blue Scotland, Blue Central and Blue Southern, parts of the Blue Group, say the company will represent Terex Ecotec’s full portfolio within their respective territories, strengthening Blue’s position as a leading supplier of recycling and waste processing equipment.
Terex Ecotec offers equipment solutions for waste processing, biomass production, material recovery, wood processing and green waste applications. The company says its portfolio is designed to meet the growing demands for sustainable and high-performance environmental machinery.
“Having Blue represent Terex Ecotec in England, Scotland and Wales is an important milestone for our brand and for environmental customers across the region,” says Conor Hegarty, Terex Ecotec business line director. “Their expertise and heritage in the recycling and environmental industries will take Terex Ecotec onto our next phase of growth. This, alongside Blue’s extensive relationship with Terex, will give customers confidence that they will continue to be supported by industry experts.”
This appointment marks a new chapter in Blue Machinery’s established relationship with Terex, representing brands such as Fuchs, Powerscreen, MAGNA, Green-Tec, MDS and Terex Washing Systems. Blue says the addition of Terex Ecotec enables the company to deliver a broad suite of integrated solutions to customers operating in many different industries.
The Terex Ecotec product range includes an array of shredders, trommel screens, metal separators, windrow turners, tracked conveyors and waste handlers, which complement Blue Machinery’s existing Fuchs scrap handler lineup.
Blue Spares will become the supplier of Terex Ecotec OEM parts across England, Scotland and Wales. With established depots in Warrington and Stirling, Blue Spares says it's fully stocked with Terex Ecotec parts and ready to support customers with spare parts availability.
“This is an exciting time for everyone at Blue, and we are delighted to further strengthen our longstanding ties with Terex and work now with Terex Ecotec in the ever-growing environmental sector,” says Terry Hughes, Blue Machinery managing director. “Their extensive range of high quality and reliable products allows us to offer to our loyal and growing customer base a wide range of industry leading, cost effective and high value processing solutions.”
