The Tennessee Recycling Coalition (TRC) has announced the 35th annual Tennessee Sustainability Conference Aug. 21-23 at the Park Vista Hotel in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. This conference is a collaboration between TRC, the Tennessee Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Tennessee Environmental Conference.
The event is open to environmental professionals, government officials, business and industry leaders, attorneys, consultants, engineers, developers, architects, agribusiness leaders, energy experts, water planning districts, universities, public health officials and solid waste and recycling professionals.
TRC says the three-day conference will offer a range of environmental sessions, panel discussions, training classes, workshops, tours, an exhibitor hall and presentations from environmental professionals and leaders.
The conference aims to discuss new technologies, regulations, environmental safety, grants, air permitting, stormwater and case studies impacting the management of natural resources. It also aims to explore solutions and best practices for managing environmental sustainability.
A golf tournament will be held Wednesday, Aug. 21 at the Gatlinburg Golf Course, which will benefit the Bob Fletcher Memorial Scholarships.
