The Tennessee Recycling Coalition (TRC) has elected Mark Braswell vice president of its board of directors. Braswell currently serves as the external affairs director of the Tennessee Department of Environment & Conservation's (TDEC) Johnson City field office.
He was been with the department since 1991 and has worked in the Solid & Hazardous Waste and Petroleum Underground Storage Tank Programs, where he served as the local field office manager for nearly three years.
Prior to working for TDEC, Braswell was a development and exploration geologist with independent oil companies in the Midwest.
