Technocycle, an electronics recycling company based in Houston, has announced plans to expand its operations by more than 10,000 square feet to meet the expected increased demand in electronics recycling services in the Houston area. When the expansion is complete, the facility will have a total of 31,500 square feet available for processing electronic scrap.
"We'll be moving the recycling part of our business into the new facility in early November," says Mike Buckles, president of Technocycle.
In addition, Technocycle recently hired Matt Workman as its business development director. Workman has 13 years of experience in the electronics business. He previously was owner of Digital Foundry Texas, a computer remarketing company.
Technocycle says it is the only company qualified by the e-Stewards program in the Houston area.
