Takeuchi-US has announced it plans to expand its Pendergrass, Georgia, operations by building a new distribution facility on its existing campus. The new facility is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2015.
The new distribution facility will increase storage space by more than 40 percent, the company says, and will provide additional parts and machine storage for future growth through 2019 and beyond.
The current operation in Pendergrass has more than 70 full-time employees and provides machine storage, parts distribution and a training area for dealers and their employees.
“The last few years have been very strong, and we have seen an increase in machine demand as the economy continues to improve,” says Clay Eubanks, president of Takeuchi-US. “Not only are we excited about our expansion plans, but it will provide additional employment opportunities within our company. When you can positively impact your community with additional job prospects due to increased growth and development it is a win-win situation for everyone.”
Takeuchi makes a line of compact track loaders, compact excavators and compact wheel loaders.
