Taghleef Industries, a global manufacturer of polypropylene- (PP-) based, biobased and biodegradable films for flexible packaging, labels and graphic arts, has opened a new Innovation Center in Italy at its site in San Giorgio di Nogaro.
In addition to existing locations on six continents, distribution centers, sales offices and six research and development centers around the world, Taghleef, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, says this new facility is designed to foster collaboration, accelerate innovation and deliver exceptional value to customers and partners.
The company, which produces 500,000 metric tons of specialized and multipurpose films annually, says the Innovation Center serves as a “dynamic hub” where its cross-functional teams and customers can come together to create, develop and refine solutions. By strategically locating the center adjacent to production lines, including extrusion, metallization and the new coating division, Taghleef says it has created an environment that seamlessly integrates research and development with manufacturing.
“The Innovation Center is a testament to Taghleef’s commitment to driving progress and meeting the evolving needs of the market,” says Wolfgang Meyer, managing director of Taghleef Industries Italy. “This collaborative space will enable us to enhance project focus, expedite time-to-market and deliver long-lasting solutions that exceed our customers’ expectations.”
The company says the facility’s design promotes the free flow of ideas and knowledge sharing, “inspiring creativity and fostering a culture of innovation” and adds that with the facility’s ample space for future expansion, it “underscores Taghleef’s dedication to long-term growth and its position as a global industry leader.”
