SWANA (The Solid Waste Association of North America) is offering a municipal recycling conference and two training events all in Charlotte, N.C., during the week of Feb. 8-12.
The organization is billing its “Thinking Outside the Blue Box” technical sessions and its Winter Training Center events as presenting “the latest information to advance your recycling program.”
Among the options available to attendees is to select a “Manager of Recycling Systems” three-day course that will present programming and training on the topics of planning, designing and management of waste reduction, recycling and composting systems.
Attendees also have an option of enrolling for a “Managing Composting Programs” three-day course, designed to cover “how to plan, design and operate a composting facility.”
More information on the full roster of February programming being offered in Charlotte by SWANA can be found at www.swana.org .
