Brockport, New York-based electronics recycler Sunnking Sustainable Solutions has released its inaugural environmental, social and governance (ESG) report for 2023.
In April, Sunnking rebranded to Sunnking Sustainable Solutions, which it says better illustrates it commitment to sustainability and innovation in the information technology asset disposition (ITAD) and electronics recycling industry.
“We are proud to present our inaugural ESG report that embodies our mission to make meaningful impacts within our industry, supply chain and communities,” says Kali Smith, director of sustainability at Sunnking Sustainable Solutions. “Transparency and accountability are at the core of our efforts, driving us to continually strive for a more sustainable future for our community and the environment.”
Sunnking Sustainable Solutions says highlights from the report include:
- environmental initiatives, such as carbon reduction strategies, waste management improvements and energy efficiency programs;
- social initiatives to support local communities, enhance employee wellbeing and promote diversity and inclusion; and
- governance frameworks promoting transparency, accountability and ethical businesses practices.
