Sunnking Announces Promotions

Electronics recycler promotes three employees to management positions.

The electronics recycling firm Sunnking Inc., Buffalo, N.Y., has promoted Michelle Read to president. Read formerly was chief financial officer for the company. She will oversee all operational, financial, logistical and sales and marketing functions for the company.

“I am extremely honored and look forward to taking our electronics recycling efforts to the next level,” Read says. “There is a tremendous amount of opportunity for the company and our employees. The culture here is truly unique and is the driving force behind our success. Without the combined efforts of the management team and the rest of our staff, Sunnking would not be where it is today and would certainly not be positioned for future growth and success.”

The company also announced Dave Boscoe will expand his current role as eBay sales manager and lead online product sales, inventory production, wholesale and the Sunnking retail division as the company’s new director of product sales.Steve Dewey, Sunnking’s former director of business development, will lead all business sales and marketing efforts as the company’s new director of sales and marketing.

Sunnking, founded in 2000, says it is New York State’s first EPA R2 Certified Electronics Recycling, Data Destruction and Asset Management company dealing in end of life electronics and equipment. In addition to Buffalo, the company has facilities in Rochester and Brockport, N.Y.
