The Aluminum Association has announced that Bob Strieter, its vice president of Health, Environment & Safety, has announced his retirement, effective March 1, 2011.
Strieter joined the Aluminum Association in 1994. Prior to his work with the Aluminum Association Strieter worked for the American Petroleum Institute.
“Bob’s dedication to the aluminum industry and his diligence and success in working on the industry’s environmental issues are irreplaceable,” says Steve Larkin, association president. “We cannot thank him enough. We wish him a happy retirement full of adventure and relaxation.”
Chuck Johnson, the association’s current director of Environment, Health & Safety will replace Strieter as vice president of Health, Environment & Safety.
