StormwateRx adds Frontline drain insert product

Oregon firm works with Frog Creek Partners to develop drain inlet insert.

Portland, Oregon-based StormwateRx, in partnership with Casper, Wyoming-based Frog Creek Partners, is now offering the Frontline product line of drain inlet inserts.

Frontline is available as a Catch Basin Insert (CBI) and a Trench Drain Insert (TDI), “both of which offer the same simple installation, operation and high performance that is common to the other StormwateRx products,” says the firm.

StormwateRx, which is part of Canada-based Newterra Ltd., has added Frontline to its Clara, Aquip, Purus and Zinc-B-Gone product lineup, creating what the firm calls “the most comprehensive line of industrial stormwater treatment products on the market to aid in compliance with stormwater discharge regulations.”

Frontline has been designed to be “the first line of defense against trash, oil, hydrocarbons, nutrients and metals in stormwater runoff,” say the two firms.

“Stormwater pollution is a difficult problem to solve,” comments Brian Deurloo, president and founder of Frog Creek Partners. “Our team believes that an arrangement between Frog Creek Partners and StormwateRx will create immense value for industrial facilities seeking reliable stormwater filtration solutions. StormwateRx and Newterra have a great track record in the water industry and we appreciate the opportunity to become a part of their product lineup.”

Frog Creek Partners describes itself as an environmental technology manufacturing company dedicated to improving the health of watersheds by building long-term relationships with clients and partners who share a passion for clean water.

The Frontline has been designed specifically for industrial applications, say the two firms, to offer “the best performance and largest adjustable overflow of any drain inlet insert on the market.” Its flexible design fits under an existing storm grate in a drop inlet or a trench drain configuration.

StormwateRx says Frontline is built is easy to maintain and its stainless steel construction has been designed “for years of rugged industrial use.”
