Stellar Industries, Garner, Iowa, has made two appointments to its engineering staff.
Tara McGrane has been appointed to the engineering department as a production drafter. Her new responsibilities include developing production drawings per engineering layouts, creating drawings for assembly and product manuals and creating bills of material. She will also use the ECR process to keep drawings and bills of material accurate and work with plan personnel to audit production drawings and bills of material.
McGrane was previously employed as a project manager to Glazing Innovations, a consulting firm for the glazing industry.
Stellar has also appointed Scott McMahon as a design engineer for the hooklift loader product line.
His new responsibilities include providing engineering support to the current product line and working towards development of future hooklift loader designs.
While attending the University of Wisconsin, McMahon completed an engineering co-op with Fleetguard Inc., where he designed mufflers and exhaust systems for off-highway vehicles, including construction, agriculture and ATVs.
Stellar Industries is a manufacturer of hydraulic hooklift loaders, mechanic service cranes and service bodies, tire service cranes and service bodies, portable welders and power systems, the X-Tra-Lift pick-up loading device, extreme duty drawer sets and air compressors.
