Garner, Iowa-based Stellar Industries Inc. is displaying its NXT52 hooklift truck configuration at the ISRI2024 convention this week at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. The convention is organized by the Washington-based Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI).
Stellar says it is excited to showcase its "groundbreaking products and solutions” at the event. The company calls the NXT52 a "game-changing innovation" designed to meet the evolving needs of material handling in the scrap and recycling industry.
The hooklift truck combines high capacity with what Stellar says is an industry-leading below-grade hook bar approach, offering "unparalleled efficiency and performance." The model offers a 52,000-pound capacity and a bolt-on body lock system to provide maximum compatibility and flexibility for a wide range of applications.
The NXT52 also features a new electronic joystick control system. The new controller features a single joystick to control all functions of the hooklift while prioritizing ergonomics for ease of use. The controller can be mounted to an adjustable base so it can be tailored for the comfort of each operator, and Stellar says it plans to eventually introduce the option to other Stellar hooklift models.
“We are thrilled to be part of ISRI and to have the opportunity to showcase our latest innovations,” says Chad Rea, a director of sales at Stellar Industries. “The scrap and recycling industry is constantly evolving, and our goal is to provide our customers with cutting-edge solutions that address their unique challenges. The NXT52 Hooklift exemplifies our commitment to innovation, efficiency and reliability.”
