Steinert US, Walton, Ky., has named Troy Robertson its new engineering and service manager. Robertson will oversee Steinert’s service and operations department.
“We are very excited to have Troy join Steinert US,” says Jason Looman, president of Steinert US. “He brings many years of experience working for Steinert Australia in a similar role. His experience is sure to be a great asset in helping Steinert US expand our service offerings in the North American market.”
Prior to joining Steinert US, Robertson spent eight years with Steinert Australia, being promoted from project engineer to operations manager. In that time he helped establish a local manufacturing base for equipment, implemented an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system and redesigned the Wet Drum Separator range for iron ore processing.
The company says that in his new role Robertson will help Steinert US to expand its service and repair offerings in both new and existing markets as well helping to establish the local manufacturing of certain product lines.
Steinert supplies separation equipment for the material recovery and recycling industry.
