The Steinert Group reports that 2014 marks the 125th anniversary of its founding. The company will celebrate the milestone with "Steinert Open Day," to be held at the company’s location in Cologne, Germany, in September.
Steinert reports that along with presentations of the company's technologies in its in-house test facility, visitor attractions also will include an in-house trade show, training sessions on current technologies organized as part of the Steinert University and an international sector meeting with a joint get-together.
The company also reports that it will continue to focus on developing export markets, as evidenced by its 2013 establishments of Steinert China and a manufacturing operation in Brazil, as well as the reorganization of its Tokyo subsidiary.
Steinert says it will maintain, service and build its customer base around the world with the addition of more sales personnel, including a national sales leader for Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and a head of international sales.
