Fort Wayne, Ind.-based Steel Dynamics Inc. is requesting tax abatement for new investment in its Jeffersonville, Ind., flat roll finishing plant. The city council will consider the proposal May 17. Officials say plans call for Steel Dynamics to add up to five workers to its Jeffersonville workforce of 90.
