Global steel and ferroalloys markets will be the topic of a June conference to be hosted by Platts Metals Week.
The “Steel and Ferroalloys Conference” has been scheduled for June 14-15 at the Renaissance Hotel in Pittsburgh.
Speakers from a variety of metals companies and securities firms will address attendees interested in the future of the steel industry and alloying metals, including nickel, titanium, cobalt, silicon and molybdenum.
The conference’s keynote speaker is scheduled to be Louis Schorsch, president and CEO of the Ispat Inland Inc. operations of Mittal Steel.
Additional speakers have been drawn from Metal Management Inc., RTI Alloys, Falconbridge and China’s Shanxiang Minmetals.
