A bill approved by the New Hampshire Senate on June 9 prohibits companies from burning wood debris from construction and demolition sites for a year while a state committee examines the health impacts of the emissions, according to a report in the Concord Monitor. (Concord, N.H.).
The bill was approved by a 17-7 vote and will keep a company called Bio Energy from burning the C&D material for fuel in Hopkinton, N.H., according to the report.
