United States Senator Rick Santorum (R-Pa.) is the keynote speaker of the Nickel Stainless Round Table and Lunch, taking place in Pittsburgh on Wednesday, Aug. 31.
The event, hosted by the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries Inc. (ISRI), also features four speakers drawn from the metals industry.
Senator Santorum will offer his remarks as part of a luncheon that opens the event. Speakers scheduled for the post-luncheon round table include Jack Shilling of Allegheny Technologies Inc., Pittsburgh; John Smith of Falconbridge U.S. Inc., Pittsburgh.; Michael Metz of VSMPO Tirus U.S. Inc., Golden, Colo.; and Martin Abbot, publisher of American Metal Market, New York.
The Roundtable event has been combined with the Pittsburgh Chapter Consumer’s Night, which features a cocktail hour, a dinner and guest speaker Steve Blass, a hero from the Pittsburgh Pirates team that won the World Series in 1971.
ISRI members and non-members can register for either event separately or for both events at a discounted rate. Those seeking more information or wishing to register can contact ISRI Pittsburgh Chapter office Nick Cerminaro at (412) 462-5555, ext. 233.
