Stadler America, Colfax, North Carolina, says that despite the apparent increase in coronavirus transmission as we head into July, many of its customers are operating fully. However, these companies are feeling the pressures created by maintenance needs. To help, Stadler America says it is reviewing the status of parts and is offering customers a low-cost Stadler Performance System Audit.
Through these Performance System Audits, Stadler can work with a customer to identify current and longer term parts needs and to recommend maintenance to extend life of equipment. This audit includes a thorough review and evaluation of the equipment, suggested recommendations and protocols with the full assistance of an on-site Stadler technician who will engage with local staff in this process.
When a customer arranges a Stadler Performance System Audit, a company technician will:
- inspect each piece of equipment independently to analyze current wear, specific wear points and performance;
- review the life expectancy of certain pieces of equipment based on manufacturers’ recommendations;
- review and discuss the customer’s current maintenance protocols;
- review and discuss manufacturer-recommended wear characteristics and recommended protocols;
- provide an overall review of system performance;
- review short-term parts needs and recommended parts for stocking on-site; and
- review the parts to be stocked at Stadler’s location for quick availability.
After the inspection, Stadler will provide the customer with:
- a report with observations and comments;
- recommended needed wear part replacements;
- recommended preventive maintenance protocols and observed procedures;
- and recommended stock parts to be stored on-site by the customer.
