SRS’ European Facility Recognized by Swedish Recycling Group

Sims Recycling Services’ (SRS) office in Katrineholm, Sweden, has been named the Electronics Recycler of the Year at the Swedish National Recycling Awards.

In choosing SRS’s facility, the judging panel said that reasons for winning the award were Katrineholm’s provision of high quality services to all customers - whether large or small - and the company’s active presence locally. It was also noted that despite Sims’ relocation from Norrköping to Katrineholm in 2008 following a fire, the company is still as strong as ever.

In recognizing SRS’s office, the judges said: “Sims at Katrineholm does an excellent job of transforming electronic waste into valuable raw materials whilst making sure that customer’s needs are always their top priority.”
