The Roseville, Calif., electronics reuse and recycling operation of Sims Recycling Solutions (SRS), with Americas headquarters in Chicago, has been ranked as the No. 1 electronics recycler by the Sacramento Business Journal for the fourth consecutive year.
The publication’s annual list is determined based on the amount of electronic scrap recycled during the prior year. SRS processed more than 12,000 tons of electronic scrap in 2011 at its Roseville facility.
The certified 200,000-square-foot electronics recycling facility provides manual and mechanical sorting of obsolete electronics and also is equipped with a shredder.
SRS operates a total of 52 electronics recycling facilities across the world.
