The Sacramento Business Journal has named Sims Recycling Solutions (SRS) as the top recycling firm in the Sacramento, Calif., region. The magazine, in its Aug. 27, 2010, issue, chose SRS over 15 recyclers in the Sacramento region as the top recycler.
The company’s Roseville plant is 200,000 square feet and includes shredding and sorting equipment as well as a on-site security system.
James Cuppet, SRS plant manager, says, “It is a great privilege to be recognized as the No. 1 electronics recycling solution in the Sacramento region for the third year in a row. We are pleased to see that the community and businesses value our data security services available along with our green and environmentally responsible recycling processes for electronic waste.”
The Roseville facility is ISO 14001 certified for environmental management and is in the process of becoming OHSAS 18001 certified for worker health and safety.
