The electronics recycling firm Sims Recycling Solutions (SRS), with North American headquarters in Chicago, will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony on March 8 in Dallas at its newest recycling facility. SRS will be joined by the Dallas Regional Chamber of Commerce at the ceremony.
“Texas, like many other states in the U.S., has had to develop new strategies for managing end-of-life electronics because they are a rapidly growing source of waste," says Steve Skurnac, president, SRS, Americas. "Sims Recycling Solutions is thrilled to be an important part of that strategy by offering safe, secure and environmentally responsible electronics recycling to Texas businesses and consumers. Sims Recycling Solutions is pleased not only to help make the greater Dallas community a safer place to live by increasing the recycling rate for unwanted electronics, but also to create new green jobs in this region.”
The 31,600-square-foot facility in Dallas is SRS’ 14th recycling center in North America. Details on the Dallas facility area available at http://us.simsrecycling.com/contacts-and-locations/dallas.
