The electronics recycling company Sims Recycling Solutions (SRS), received honorable mention at the 2011 Sacramento Sustainable Business of the Year Awards, held Sept. 15., 2011.
The awards, presented by the Business Environmental Resource Center, recognized SRS for the steps the company has taken to make its operations more sustainable, as well as for demonstrating environmental excellence and leadership in the Sacramento, Calif. area.
“Sims Recycling Solutions is honored to receive recognition as a Sustainable Business of the Year,” Steve Skurnac, SRS Americas president, says. “This award reinforces our commitment to cultivating practices that drive environmental sustainability worldwide at both a corporate and an industry level.”
