The Southwest Public Recycling Association will be holding its 10th annual Recycling and Market Development Conference Nov. 9 in Tucson. The program is being sponsored by the city of Tucson, the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality, the American Plastics Council, NAPCOR, Weyerhaeuser Recycling, Otto Industries, Vermeer Sales Southwest, McKinley paper, and the Home Depot.
Topics to be covered during the one-day event include funding resources and writing for grants; educating the hard to reach audience, composting, construction and demolition debris; and recycling markets – quality control and specifications.
