Papresa S.L., a large newsprint producer in Spain, announced plans to rebuild and modernize one of its paper lines at its newsprint mill in Renteria, Spain. The rebuild is expected increase the speed of the machine from 980 meters per minute to 1,400 meters per minute.
In addition to speeding up the machine, the rebuild will include a new Voith deinking system which will be able to produce 350 metric tons per day of deinked pulp. Raw material will include both old newspaper and old magazine.
Start up of the revamped line is expected to be next fall.
