FCC, one of the largest construction and services firms in Spain, has announced that it is acquiring the waste disposal and recycling division of WRG Holdings. The cost of the acquisition is £1,400 million (around US$2.5 million).
The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of this year, subject to clearance from the competition authorities.
The acquisition will give FCC control of one of the largest waste management and recycling firms in the UK.
