SP Recycling Corp. has announced a number of personnel changes for the company.
Ken Horn has been hired as Director of Operations North Region, including Silver Spring, Richmond, Nashville, Louisville and Franklin Divisions. Ken has more than 12 years experience in the recycling industry. He has worked for Jefferson Smurfit, Recycle America and Great Lakes International as General Manager, Operations Manager and Marketing Manager
Tim Mishark has been hired as Division Manager for Silver Spring, MD. Tim has six years experience in the recycled paper and pulp industry with TAMA Paperboard and Ponderosa, Tennessee. Prior to joining SP Recycling, Tim was President and Owner of Access Technologies.
Michelle Thornhill has been promoted to vice president of Business Development in the Atlanta Corporate office. She will report to Tom Hahn, president of SP Recycling Corp., and will be involved in the growth and expansion opportunities for SP Recycling in both the Pacific and Southeast Regions. Prior to SP Newsprint, Thornhill was the controller for five years at the containerboard mill in Stevenson, Ala.
