Several recycling-related conferences and expos in late October and early November will prompt recyclers to gather in three different cities in South China.
In the final week of October, Hong Kong’s AsiaWorld-Expo will serve as the host venue for Eco Expo Asia, organized by Messe Frankfurt. Thursday, Oct. 30 is the waste management and recycling “theme” day at the event, which runs from Oct. 29 to Nov. 1.
The show’s organizers say “the 2014 show will serve as a networking platform enabling quality buyers from Asia to connect with green enterprises and government officials.”
Shenzhen, a city adjacent to Hong Kong, will serve as the host of the 12th China Plastics Recycling Exhibition & Conference November 6 and 7. That event is organized by the China Scrap Plastics Association (CSPA), also known as China Replas 2014 (Autumn).
The CSPA calls the event “the largest influential and professional exhibition of the scrap plastics industry both in China and Asia.” Sessions at China Replas 2014 (Autumn) will feature simultaneous translation in Mandarin Chinese and English.
The CSPA says previous Replas events have attracted as many as 600 attendees from 30 different countries. The trade show floor will be set up to host as many as 65 exhibitors.
The South China city of Guangzhou will host the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association Recycling Metal Division’s 2014 CMRA Annual Convention Nov. 7-9.
The nonferrous metals recycling event features dozens of exhibitors, two days of programming and optional tours of regional scrap recycling facilities. Each year it brings together nonferrous metals processors, traders and consumers from throughout the world.
Also in Guangzhou, just before the CMRA event, is the 2014 China International Scrap Conference (ChinaScrap) and the 6th Imported Scrap “Overseas Suppliers” and “Domestic Consignees” Fair. The event takes place at the Westin Pazhou in Guangzhou Nov. 3-5.
ChinaScrap has been held for 5 years with a mission described by its organizers “to build the most comprehensive and authoritative recycling conference and exhibition platform.”
