Sourgum, a Jersey City, New Jersey-based waste and recycling technology company, has expanded to Indianapolis.

Sourgum offers an online platform which allows residents and businesses to book on-demand container rentals and waste and recycling services.

“Indianapolis is one of the fastest growing metro areas in the country, and it deserves modern, transparent and sustainable waste solutions,” Sourgum CEO and co-founder Joe DiNardi-Mack says. “Our mission is to make waste and recycling as simple as ordering anything else online. With our haulsourcing technology, customers get faster, more reliable, sustainable solutions while local haulers have the tools and scale they need to drive growth.”

The company’s technology connects customers to a network of more than 5,000 local haulers, providing quotes, pricing, availability and automated scheduling.

The Indianapolis expansion follows recent launches in Birmingham, Alabama; Nashville, Tennessee; Atlanta; Raleigh, North Carolina; Louisville, Kentucky; and Jackson, Mississippi.

In addition to its nationwide rollout, Sourgum recently rebranded its visual identity with updates to its logo and website. DiNardi-Mack says the industry has been defined by outdated processes and fragmented service, and the new brand will signal the next era of waste and recycling intelligence.
