Sony Canada Doubles the Number of Collection Points for its Recycling Program

Company is adding 57 non-retail collection sites and 62 Sony Style retail stores.

Sony Canada has expanded its national electronics recycling program by doubling the number of collection sites across the country. To reach the figure, the company has added 57 non-retail collection sites and 62 Sony Style retail stores across Canada.

"Sony Canada's goal is to divert all Sony products from landfill," says Doug Wilson, president & COO, Sony of Canada Ltd. "We've delivered on our goal to double the number of collection sites within the last two years, and we'll keep expanding. We're committed to making it as easy to recycle Sony products as it is to purchase them."

Sony Canada's expanded national recycling program was launched in April 2008.
