Sonoco Products Co. announced that it will increase prices for all coreboard grades in continental Europe by about $48 per metric ton, effective immediately.
The company also announced that coreboard grades manufactured at its plant in Stainland, England, will hike prices by around $37.25, effective immediately.
The price increase follows price increases the company passed through last month: up 7.5 percent in the United States and Canada; between 1.7-12 percent in Europe.
The company attributed this second price hike in two months to rapidly climbing recovered fiber prices.Latest from Recycling Today
