Smithers, an Ohio-based global business conferences organizer, has announced its 2023 Chemical Recycling Workshop will be co-located with its Sustainability in Packaging Asia 2023 conference. Both events will take place June 5-7 at the Ramada by Wyndham Singapore.
Smithers will offer a package ticket that will provide attendees with full access to both events. Another Smithers conference will take place in Singapore immediately following June 8-9. The Specialty Papers Asia conference focuses on specialty paper manufacturing, paper supply and the packaging industry.
The Chemical Recycling Workshop will offer what Smithers calls “high-level presentations, interactive panels and numerous networking opportunities with attendees from across the plastics and sustainable packaging supply chains.”
Among presenters scheduled for the workshop are speakers from United Kingdom-based Plastic Energy and France-based TotalEnergies.
Sustainability in Packaging Asia is intended to bring together brand owners, retailers, packaging converters, manufacturers, suppliers, recyclers and others involved in the packaging supply chain. “It is designed to facilitate industry collaboration, support the sharing of ideas, explore innovative solutions, and deliver upon the collective promise of increased sustainability within the packaging industry,” Smithers says.
That event’s lineup includes speakers from Coca-Cola, Nestle, Veolia, Food Panda, UPM Raflatac, Emerald Technology Ventures and beauty products firms Beiersdorf and Lush.
