Citiraya Industries, a Singapore-based company, announced that its European-based company has secured a renewed and extended contract with Hewlett Packard to provide product take back, e-waste recycling, precious metals extraction and refinery services for HP’s B2B market in Italy.
The expanded program adds to the company’s contract with HP for recycling programs in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
The addition of Italy will significantly expand the program coverage within the European Union as the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive introduced in the EU.
Ng teck Lee, Citiraya’s CEPO, noted, “We are delighted to have securerd this extended contract. It is encouraging that major clients, such as HP,have the confident to contract Citiraya to deliver professional e-waste recycling services on a broader geographic scale in an area of their business which is rapidly growing in importance.”
