Simsmetal announced that Jeremy Sutcliffe will succeed John Crabb as chief executive of the company. Simsmetal, based in Sydney, Australia, is a metals recycling and industrial services business.
In addition to facilities in Australia, the company has operations throughout the world. In the United States the company operates a number of facilities, primarily in the Western U.S.
Sutcliffe has been with the group since 1990, lately as head of its operations in the UK, where it is the second largest metal recycler.
He will take up his new position in March.
