Sims Recycling Solutions (SRS), West Chicago, Illinois, is hosting a webinar titled “Everything You Need to Know (From A-Z) About Managing Retired Electronic Assets” on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2016, beginning at 2:00 p.m. Eastern time.
The company says the live, complimentary webinar will examine “the fundamentals of IT asset disposition” and will be followed by a live question-and-answer session with Sean Magann, an SRS employee with more than 15 years of experience related to the downstream processing, recovery and reuse of IT and electronic scrap.
SRS says webinar participants will come away from the event with:
- an ability to make better informed decisions regarding IT asset disposition;
- an understanding of why it’s important for your company to manage this material appropriately;
- knowledge of the complexity and challenges associated with IT asset disposition;
- insight on how to mitigate disposal risks;
- an outline of what global reverse logistics for your company would look like; and
- an overview of what data destruction and disposal options are available (and the benefits of each).
The webinar is appropriate “for anyone involved in the management of IT equipment,” according to SRS.
