Sims Group Chief Executive, Jeremy Sutcliffe announced that Sims has opened a representative office in Hanoi, Vietnam, which will become fully functional once local formalities have been finalized.
“This office will strengthen Sims International’s existing network of representative offices in the Asia Pacific region and will support the Group’s marketing and trading strategy. Vietnam is one of the fastest growing economies in the ASEAN region with a rapidly developing steel industry,” said Sutcliffe. “We regard the country as a promising market for a wide range of products handled by the Group”.
Sims Group’s core business is metal recycling, with an emerging business in recycling solutions.
