Sims Group Ltd. has acquired the Indian firm Trishyiraya Recycling India Pvt Ltd. The acquisition follows along with Sims’ goal of growing its Recycling Solutions e-scrap recycling division in the Asia Pacific.
Trishyiraya is an established recycler of electrical and electronic equipment in Chennai, India, an industrial hub in India and in close to several IT centers in India.
Trishyiraya is currently located in a Special Economic Zone in Chennai and was a pioneer in establishing an electronic recycling facility in India.

The management team will include Kumar Radhakrishnan who has overall responsibility for SRS Asian Pacific operations, and Subash Warrier, responsible for commercial affairs.
