Simplified Environmental Solutions (SES), a St. Louis-based company that designs zero-waste-to-landfill management programs for manufacturers to help them meet their sustainability goals, has opened a new full-service location in Rising Fawn, Georgia—part of the greater metropolitan area of Chattanooga, Tennessee.

SES says the strategic expansion strengthens its ability to deliver sustainable waste solutions throughout the southeastern United States, including Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, Kentucky, Mississippi and the Carolinas.

The new facility will offer SES’ full range of services, including nonhazardous secondary material processing, recycling, reuse of raw material, waste and scrap, controlled disposal of finished goods, food waste reuse and compost and on-site waste and recycling consultation.

“Our Chattanooga facility is an important step in our national expansion strategy, allowing us to better serve the growing sustainability needs across the Southeast,” says Chad DeGraffenreid, co-CEO of SES. “The region’s robust manufacturing sector offers opportunities to implement our custom zero-waste-to-landfill programs that not only eliminate landfill waste but also optimize manufacturing processes to create new efficiencies and prevent excess waste generation.”

The new location provides access to major transportation routes, allowing SES to efficiently service clients within a two-to-three-hour radius, covering major manufacturing hubs in Atlanta, Birmingham, Nashville and Knoxville.

“Our newest location offers the perfect blend of rural space for our operations while maintaining proximity to the industrial centers we serve,” says Brent Wheeler, co-CEO, SES. “Additionally, the area’s natural beauty and conservation culture align perfectly with our sustainability mission, creating an environment where our team can thrive while helping our partners achieve their zero-waste goals.

“We’re seeing unprecedented demand from manufacturers in the Southeast who are committed to sustainability but need expert guidance to achieve true zero-waste-to-landfill status. Our approach of embedding our specialists within client operations enables us to develop customized solutions that transform waste challenges into resource opportunities and foster a global circular economy.”

The new location is part of the company’s ongoing national expansion strategy, according to SES, with additional facilities planned in key regions across the United States.
