Silver State Adds Marathon Compactor, Baler

Company places winning bid at EIA Education Foundation auction.

Silver State Disposal, a division of Republic Services of Southern Nevada Inc., was the high bidder on two pieces of Marathon Equipment at the Environmental Industries Association (EIA) Education Foundation auction at Waste Expo 2006 in Las Vegas.

Republic Services representatives Fred Crossley, Bob Clark and Matt Wood offered the winning bid for the Marathon RJ-250SC Ultra self-contained compactor and the V-6030 vertical baler. The equipment will be integrated into a large fleet of compactors that Republic Services operates in Clark County.

 

“Republic Services of Southern Nevada appreciates the opportunity to help out the EIA Educational Foundation and to add the equipment we received at the auction to our inventory that handles the high waste demands in Las Vegas,” Crossley says.
