The Germany-based company SiCon has introduced three new modular auto shredder residue Metals Recovery Systems: the SiCon 75, the SiCon 100 and the SiCon 120.
The company says that the new modular systems can be adapted to fit any size of shredder throughputs, up to 300 tons per hour. SiCon says that its engineers also can integrate its new systems into existing downstream plants to improve the quality and increase the quantity of metals recovered.
The company also says that it can add more modules to capture, separate and recycle plastics from auto shredder fluff.
In a release, the company says that its most advanced system, SiCon 120, assures that virtually all metals are recovered and separated in a quality for direct metallurgical recycling.
SiCon is a systems/equipment designer and provider of turnkey shredder residue processing plants that are based on its Volkswagen-SiCon Process. The company says that all of its systems are installed using proven SiCon equipment to ensure high reliability and performance.
In addition to SiCon’s ASR Metals Recovery Systems, the company can add modules to capture, separate and recycle plastics from auto shredder residue.
