Sicon wins European Business Award

Equipment maker honored as a “national champion.”

Recycling equipment maker Sicon GmbH has been honored as a “national champion” for Germany at a European Business Awards ceremony, which took place at the British Embassy in Berlin in early February 2016.

SICON was selected for the award by a panel of independent judges, including senior businesses and academic leaders, in the Europe-wide competition that is sponsored by London-based accounting and consulting firm RSM.

The Berlin event was the tenth in a series of events for The European Business Awards that have taken place in Europe to celebrate the 678 national champions from 32 different countries.

“Germany is home to some truly exciting and entrepreneurial businesses, which we are delighted to champion and support,” says Adrian Tripp, CEO of the European Business Awards. “We wish Sicon and all the national champions every success for their businesses in the future.”

Each national champion, including Sicon, has made a presentation video explaining its business success, as part of a public vote that will decide the “National Public Champions” for each country. The videos have been posted on the European Business Awards website, with votes being cast at www.businessawardseurope.com through Feb. 26, 2016.

The European Business Awards competition was created to support the development of a stronger and more successful business community throughout Europe, says its organizers.
