SiCon, an equipment company based in Germany, is introducing the AirSort, an addition to the company’s auto shredder residue systems. The AirSort is a precise, zigzag air classification device that includes features based on the company’s more than 12 years of experience in auto shredder residue (ASR) processing.
Features of the AirSort include the following:
- Computer-aided design and simulation modeling that ensures the AirSort is designed for a company’s exact application;
- No turbulence inside the air channel;
- Longest air channel on the market;
- Adjustable back wall;
- Easy to exchange wear parts;
- Humidity sensors adjust air flow for quality density separation;
- Dedusting/filtering systems available;
- Complete system integration possible; and
- Highest quality standard – engineered and made in Germany by SiCon.
In an announcement on the AirSort, SiCon notes that the mechanical processing of ASR and industrial wastes require precise separation technologies. Metal sorters (eddy currents and induction coil machines) require a quality presentation and reduced volume to achieve a quality separation. SiCon says that its AirSort can provide these standards for effective separation goals.
The AirSort systems are available in all capacities and sizes. More information is available at http://www.sicontechnology.com/fileadmin/contents/PDF/Airsort.pdf.
