ShredStation, the Bensalem, Pa.-based maker of ID theft prevention vaults, has announced that it has expanded its staff to meet industry demand and to support the company’s new licensing program. ShredStation has named three senior level executives to its staff and plans to hire additional management as the company’s footprint continues to expand nationally.
ShredStation began selling licensing opportunities to certified professional document destruction companies April 1. The licensees will service all ShredStation vaults in a given territory by securely destroying the contents on site at each vault location.
“The demand for retail document destruction is growing at an amazing rate. To bring ShredStation vaults to more locations throughout North America, we have developed a licensing program that will help to not only meet consumer need, but dramatically expand ShredStation’s North American footprint and depth of service,” Al Villamil, ShredStation president, says.
To maintain the company’s projected growth, ShredStation has added three senior level employees to its staff:
· Henry Peglar has been named director of sales and national account manager. He will be responsible for securing and maintaining relationships with ShredStation’s service partners throughout
· Andy Benson has been named vice president of licensing and partner relations. Previously, Benson worked for ShredStation as the company’s vice president of sales. In his new role, he will develop and coordinate all national sales efforts and closely work with all licensees to deploy ShredStation vaults in their territories.
· Mike Klein has been named CFO of ShredStation. Previously, Klein served as CFO for the Journal Registry Co. He will be responsible for all company financial matters.
Current locations that feature ShredStation vaults include: Staples office supply stores in Phoenix and Los Angeles; Leesport Financial, Reading, Pa; Dan’s Foods, Green Bay, Wis.; Duthler’s, Detroit; Festival Foods, Salt Lake City; Sir Speedy Printing, Philadelphia; Giant Eagle in western Pennsylvania; United Parcel Service, The Mail Shop, Postal Annex, The Flower Shop & Post Office Box and Postal Center & More in San Diego, Calif.
