USA Technologies is teaming with ShredStation to launch intelligent ShredStation secure document disposal vaults, the world’s first online information disposal box to help combat identify theft.
The first ShredStation vaults equipped with USA Technologies’ e-Port® cashless payment technology are being deployed at retail locations nationwide, including stationary stores, overnight shipping centers, banks, grocery stores, copying centers and office building lobbies.
ShredStation secure document disposal vaults are also being installed in UPS stores, Minuteman Press International Corp., Leesport Financial Corp., Festival Foods and Dan’s Foods.
"ShredStation vaults are another example of the versatility of USA Technologies’ e-Port technology in opening up new business ventures and revenue streams," said John McLaughlin, VP, Sales, USA Technologies. "The e-Port, which activates the ShredStation and enables credit and debit card payment, is fast becoming a much sought after technology to operate unattended equipment 24x7, while improving customer convenience and satisfaction."
Using the ShredStation is easy and secure. Customers seal their sensitive documents in a secure ShredStation envelope. This envelope can hold up to two pounds of material. The sealed envelope is inserted in the ShredStation vault that is similar is size and shape to a FedEx or DHL drop box.
