Shredmore LLC, based in Alexandria, La., has announced the release of the 3040E electric shred truck.
The shredder operates on an independent generator, which means the truck engine does not have to be running during shredding. According to Shredmore, this reduces the vehicle’s carbon footprint and saves fuel.
Because of the generator, the 3040E employs few hydraulics, making it easy to maintain.
The 3040E features a Cresswood grinder that is powered by Isuzu generator sets. The truck’s 24-foot aluminum trailer features double-walled construction and a Hallco walking floor. The 3040E is built on an International chassis with a gross vehicle weight of 33,000 pounds.
Robert Gaspard, owner and CEO of Security Mobile Shredder, founded Shredmore LLC. More information is available at www.shredmoretrucks.com or by calling (318) 613-5801.
