Absolute Document Destruction Services in Portage, Mich., has been awarded AAA certification by the National Association for Information Destruction. NAID is an association servicing the information destruction industry.
The certification is for mobile, plant-based and micromedia shredding and is recognized as the highest standard in the information-destruction industry. One of the most sought-after areas of recognition for companies in the shredding business is to receive the AAA certification, which indicates to customers that the company has achieved a high level of security.
The company also announced that it has joined Information Protection Solutions of America, a Chicago-based operation that aims to unite independent information destruction firms in a confederation to market their services to national accounts.
