The Hungarian firm Alcufer has inaugurated a shredder at its plant in Fehérvárcsurgó. According to published reports, the facility cost around $12 million
Alcufer covered 20 percent of the costs of the investment with a grant from a European Union funding, 60 percent came from a bank loan and 20 percent of the cost came from its own resources.
The plant has capacity to shred 100,000 tons of metal a year, managing director Ferenc Horváth told MTI.
Alcufer manages 430,000 tons of waste a year from 14 collection sites. MTI-ECONEWS
