Shredder manufacturer Shred-Tech, headquartered in Cambridge, Ontario, has announced its exclusive North American strategic partnership with Camec SRL, Cittadella, Italy. Camec designs and manufactures turnkey shredding and recycling systems for industrial and municipal waste processing as well as standalone equipment such as shredders, compactors, granulators and handling machinery.
Shred-Tech will be the exclusive distributor for Camec’s GL, GR, GS and GRR lines of single-shaft shredders and the MG line of granulators in the United States and Canada.
Camec operates from an 80,000-square-foot facility in Italy and is fully equipped to design and manufacture complete systems in-house, Shred-Tech states in the news release announcing the partnership. The company’s focus on research and development over the past 25 years ensures an innovative approach to solving difficult customer problems. It serves the tires, e-scrap, aluminum, ferrous, copper cable, plastics, wood and paper recycling sectors.
Established in 1978, Shred-Tech designs and manufactures mobile and stationary shredding and recycling systems, having installed more than 6,000 shredding and recycling systems worldwide. The company also has operations in Apex, North Carolina, and in Thailand, as well as distributors in the U.K., Australia and Japan.
